"Upper Waterdog Lake" oil/canvas,gallery wraped to back of stretchers. I stood in the water for a couple of hours while I did the original plein air study(sold)for this larger studio painting. The Waterdog Lakes, an upper and a lower, are about two miles back in at about 12,000 ft. of elevation. A great palce to backpack in to paint and fish for cutthroats. The upper ridge in the painting is the Continental Divide.
